About Us

Huskie Jrs. is a new juniors girls’ club volleyball program in 2009 located in DeKalb county. We believe that by teaching proper technique and fundamentals by our unified coaching staff in a fun, intense environment our athletes will build a strong foundation that will help them achieve their goals.

Huskie Jrs. is designed for the multi-sport/multi-activity athlete. We will not discourage our athletes who are involved in another sport, activity, club, organization, community group or any other extracurricular activity. This gives us a great sense of uniqueness. Huskie Jrs. also provides those just starting out in the sport a chance to learn the basics and fundamentals needed to move on to the next level of volleyball. In addition, our experienced staff will assist all of our athletes in the recruiting process should they want to play collegiate volleyball.

Coaching Staff

The coaching staff will consist of local high school coaches, experienced club coaches, current and former NIU athletes, current and former Kishwaukee College players. In addition, we anticipate that members of the NIU coaching staff will assist on a part-time basis throughout the season.
